Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national airline, has entered a five-year strategic partnership with SATS Saudi Arabia (SATS SA). Under the agreement, SATS SA will provide cargo handling services at major airports in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, while also developing hub management operations at King Khalid International Airport.
The deal gives Riyadh Air access to SATS’ global network and advanced cargo technologies, supporting the airline’s plans to launch operations with a strong cargo offering. The partnership also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to establish Riyadh as a leading logistics hub capable of handling 4.5 million tonnes of air cargo annually.
