In a recent three-hour podcast with Joe Rogan, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that the company plans to present a prototype of a flying car, built on a next-generation version of the Roadster, before the end of the year.
Musk described the project as “crazy technology… looks like a car, but has more insane tech than any James Bond car.” He declined to reveal technical specifics — such as retractable wings or vertical-take-off capability — saying details will come at the unveiling.
