SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, is increasing capacity on its flights between the United Kingdom and Turkey for the 2025 summer season. In response to rising travel demand from the UK to Turkey, the airline is adding 10,000 extra seats across five routes.
The additional capacity—available from August through October—includes routes between London Gatwick, London Stansted, Bristol, and Birmingham to Antalya, as well as Edinburgh to Dalaman. Antalya and Dalaman, two of Turkey’s most popular holiday destinations, continue to attract significant interest from UK visitors thanks to their natural beauty and rich tourist offerings.
With the aim of enabling more passengers to explore Turkey’s most beloved coastal resorts, SunExpress is making travel from the UK to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast more accessible. In addition to sun and sea tourism, the airline’s network also appeals to travelers interested in culture, archaeology, gastronomy, and sports-focused travel.
Operating a fleet of 85 aircraft and flying to 237 destinations in 35 countries, SunExpress aims to carry approximately 17 million passengers this year.
