Integrated journey: from flight to ride
Initial implementations under the agreement include:
-
A booking platform that integrates Uber gift vouchers into Emirates flight reservations,
-
Extended Uber transport services for selected Emirates customer segments, covering both airport drop-offs and pickups.
Through this partnership, members of Emirates’ frequent flyer program Skywards will be eligible for exclusive Uber benefits in selected markets.
The Goal: Door-to-Destination Travel
Officials from both Emirates and Uber emphasized that the long-term goal of the partnership is to offer a fully integrated “door-to-destination” travel experience, covering everything from pre-flight to post-flight mobility. By combining Emirates’ premium service standards with ground transportation, the project aims to elevate overall customer satisfaction to a new level.
Speaking on the agreement, Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Emirates is excited to partner with Uber as part of our commitment to delivering smooth travel experiences. In the coming months, we will work closely together to leverage our combined strengths in travel and technology to expand planning options, create more connected end-to-end journeys across our network, and offer exciting new benefits for our Skywards members. We look forward to a successful partnership and the valuable opportunities it will bring for our customers.”
