The number of direct flights between Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports, and Amsterdam has been increased to three times a week.
According to a statement by TAV Airports, TUI Nederland, the Dutch subsidiary of the international travel and tourism group TUI, will operate reciprocal flights between Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport and the Dutch capital Amsterdam every Thursday throughout the season.
Following the Tuesday and Saturday flights already offered on the same route by Corendon Dutch, the Netherlands-based operations of the Corendon tourism group, the total number of direct flights between Gazipaşa-Alanya and Amsterdam has now risen to three per week.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed TUI Nederland’s first flight from Amsterdam with a special ceremony. Passengers arriving on flight OR3161, operated with a B738 aircraft, were greeted with flowers at the terminal.
TUI Nederland’s direct flights between Amsterdam and Gazipaşa will continue until August 28.
In the statement, TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport Director Ali Özgür Pehlivan emphasized their continuous efforts to expand both the number of airlines and flight networks at the airport.
Pehlivan stated, “We are working to offer more travel options to passengers through flights to various destinations on different days of the week. Thanks to the partnerships we are building with new airlines, we will continue working with our stakeholders to enhance the global accessibility of our region and unlock its tourism potential.”
In 2024, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport served a total of 1,051,608 passengers. For the 2025 summer season, it is expected to operate flights with 14 airlines to 21 destinations across 14 countries until October 26. In the first six months of this year alone, the airport has already welcomed 385,041 passengers.
