Istanbul’s global aviation hub, İGA Istanbul Airport, has achieved new international successes. Recognized in three different categories by the Airports Council International (ACI World), İGA once again demonstrated its leadership in shaping the future of the industry.

Level 5 Customer Experience Accreditation: The first airport in Europe and one of only four worldwide to earn this recognition.

Global Training Leadership Award: Honored for training programs with over 95% participation and satisfaction rates.
İGA officials emphasized that these awards are the result of the trust of millions of passengers and the dedicated efforts of its employees.
Meanwhile, İGA announced it will host the ACI World Airport Experience Summit from August 31 – September 4, 2026. The summit will bring the aviation industry’s leading representatives to Istanbul, providing a platform to share innovative strategies focused on customer and employee experience.
