Singapore Airlines (SIA) has unveiled a new in-flight safety video that creatively delivers essential safety information while taking passengers on a journey through Singapore’s iconic landmarks, vibrant neighborhoods, and communities. Produced in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the video features Singapore Airlines cabin crew visiting notable sites such as the Esplanade, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa, Lau Pa Sat, and Jurong Lake Gardens.
The crew also engages with local communities—including a lion dance troupe, Kolam artists, Silat practitioners, and a water aerobics team—who help demonstrate the flight safety procedures.
Combining real-life footage with watercolor effects, the video invites viewers to explore Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage and thriving visual arts scene.
Its artistic concept draws inspiration from Singapore’s dynamic art atmosphere, symbolized by the iconic murals that reflect the city’s history and culture.
Vinod Kannan, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, said:
“This video creatively presents vital safety information while also showcasing Singapore’s vibrant and diverse culture, landscapes, and communities. Safety remains our top priority, which is why each scene was carefully designed to reinforce key safety messages. We hope the video helps Singaporeans feel at home and provides visitors with a captivating introduction to the many attractions of our island nation.”
Kenneth Lim, Assistant Chief Executive of the Singapore Tourism Board, added:
“Singapore Airlines’ new in-flight safety video celebrates the diversity of Singapore’s communities and rich culture. This strategic partnership allows us to showcase Singapore’s unique character to millions of passengers worldwide, while strengthening our position as a preferred destination for both business and leisure travel.”
The video will be progressively rolled out across all Singapore Airlines flights starting from late October 2025.
