They Forgot Blind Passengers

In the US, Southwest Airlines has apologized for forgetting to

In the US, Southwest Airlines has apologized for forgetting to take two blind passengers onto their flight. Blind passengers Camille Tate and Sherri Brun had purchased tickets with Southwest Airlines to fly from New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport to Orlando. Upon arriving at the airport, they learned their flight was delayed by five hours.

During the delay, Southwest Airlines rebooked waiting passengers onto another flight on the same route. However, no staff member informed the disabled passengers about this change. The two blind travelers ended up waiting for hours, and when they were finally boarded onto the delayed original flight, they discovered they were the only ones on the plane.

While Southwest Airlines claimed that the affected passengers had been informed, the two disabled travelers said they were unaware of the situation.
