While waiting for your next flight, take a moment to watch the activity around the aircraft on the apron from the terminal. There is constant movement around the plane. Vehicles, crews, equipment… everything progresses in a precise rhythm, right on time.
As soon as the aircraft lands and reaches its parking position, a quiet excitement begins. The goal is clear: to prepare the aircraft fully and on schedule for its next flight.
Wheel chocks are placed, safety cones are set, and the GPU (Ground Power Unit) is connected. Baggage doors open. As passengers disembark, luggage is unloaded simultaneously and sent toward the terminal. Then, baggage for the next flight is loaded. Refueling takes place, fresh water is supplied, cabin cleaning is completed, and catering is onboarded. Technical checks follow.
In the cockpit, the captains plan the next flight. Once clearance is received from the tower, the pushback process begins. All these procedures must be completed flawlessly within a tightly timed window, racing against the clock. With high-level coordination, seamless teamwork, and strict discipline, the doors close. The aircraft begins taxiing for its next journey.
While you wait for your flight at the airport, dozens of people are working behind the scenes to ensure that the aircraft departs on time and everything runs smoothly.
