Bombardier has secured one of its largest recent orders, announcing a firm deal for 50 Challenger and Global business jets valued at $1.7 billion with a yet-to-be-named customer.
The agreement, revealed this week, includes a first-of-its-kind maintenance services partnership, bundling the aircraft order with a comprehensive long-term support package, a strategic move that Bombardier says reflects its evolving approach to full lifecycle client support.
Deliveries are set to begin in 2027, and the customer has also secured options for 70 additional aircraft, potentially pushing the total value of the deal beyond $4 billion.
“This landmark agreement is a powerful endorsement of Bombardier’s performance-leading jets and our end-to-end service capabilities,” said Éric Martel, Bombardier’s President and CEO.
The deal marks a significant step for the Canadian manufacturer as it continues to position itself as a leader in both aircraft innovation and aftermarket support.
