After many years at Turkish Airlines (THY), Özlem Salihoğlu has joined aviation and travel technology company Hitit, marking a new chapter in her industry career.
Who is Özlem Salihoğlu?
Özlem Salihoğlu served at Turkish Airlines for 31 years, achieving significant milestones in the aviation sector. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President for International Relations & Alliances.
She began her career in overseas stations in Revenue Management, Marketing, and Sales, later holding critical leadership roles, including Vice President of Cargo and Loyalty, where she played an active role in shaping THY’s global sales strategies.
She also holds the distinction of being the youngest overseas country manager appointed by Turkish Airlines, assigned to Seoul, South Korea, in 1997.
Born in Mersin, she is a Boğaziçi University Industrial Engineering graduate.
