After a challenging 2024, AJet is entering 2025 with remarkable momentum, strengthening its operations and setting new records.

Founded just 16 months ago, AJet has quickly established itself as Türkiye’s youngest airline. With a growing fleet, employment opportunities, and locally developed aircraft interiors, the airline continues to capture attention.

One of the biggest milestones is the introduction of factory-fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft into the fleet. Four of these aircraft are expected by the end of August 2025, with 10 in service by year-end. From 2025 to 2027, 45 more are planned, each equipped with “Miligram” seats designed and produced by Turkish engineers. This step not only enhances passenger comfort but also reduces dependence on foreign suppliers, adding local value to the aviation sector.

Operationally, AJet has already broken records. In July 2025, the airline carried over 2.5 million passengers, the highest since its first flight on 31 March 2024. On 27 July alone, it operated 470 flights in a single day, another all-time high. For 2025, the target is ambitious: more than 23 million passengers across domestic and international routes.

The airline’s workforce is also expanding. With every new aircraft, AJet increases employment, particularly for cockpit and cabin crews. It has launched training programs enabling first officers to be promoted to captain positions, and as part of the Cyprus Island Project, 60 young citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have been hired as cabin crew.

AJet’s network now covers 99 destinations in 41 domestic and 34 international markets, including key cities in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus. From October, it will also connect Ankara with Barcelona and Madrid.

Beyond growth, AJet emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility. Discounts are provided for veterans and their families, and regular campaigns make air travel more affordable for many who have never flown before.

Its new brand campaign, “Add the Moments That Make You Say Wow to Your Story”, filmed across 5 countries and 7 cities, highlights AJet’s diverse network and passenger experiences while reinforcing its international positioning.
