According to the information provided on the site, the flying car has a two-passenger capacity and can fast charge in 15 minutes. It offers a range of 80 kilometers and can reach a maximum flight speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Being fully electric, AirCar has a payload capacity of 250 kilograms.
100 units to be delivered in 2027
Developed with an 85 percent domestic production rate, the first 100 pre-order units of AirCar are scheduled for delivery in 2027.
The approximate price of AirCar has been set at 99,000 dollars, excluding taxes and destination fees. The offered AirCar Basic Package includes a ballistic parachute that automatically deploys in case of malfunction, a crash prevention system, and a 400V charger.
The flying car comes in white, red, gray, blue, and black color options and includes a warranty of two years or 500 flight hours, whichever comes first. Customers can reserve a unit for the 2027 delivery with a $250 down payment.
Capable of reaching an altitude of up to 10,000 feet, AirCar will be certified in the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) category. An LSA pilot license will be required to operate it. For the first 1,000 orders, AirCar will provide free LSA pilot license training.
AirCar Founder and CEO Eray Altunbozar announced on social media that the vehicle had been opened for pre-sale and that the first reservation had already been made.
Quoting the famous saying that “even a journey of a thousand kilometers begins with a single step,” Altunbozar added: “Now the big goal is to complete deliveries in 2027.”
