SunExpress, the joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, is adding Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city, to its flight network for the 2025 winter season. Starting November 5, 2025, the airline will launch direct flights from Izmir to Porto, a city renowned for its rich culture and history.
The Izmir–Porto flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. With this new route, passengers will enjoy fast, comfortable, and direct access to one of Portugal’s most popular tourism destinations, known for its historic character, unique architecture, stunning views along the Douro River, and world-famous gastronomy.
