AJet’s Ankara-based flights will increase the tourism capacity of Central Anatolia and neighboring provinces. Speaking on the matter, Turkish Airlines and AJet Chairman of the Board Ahmet Bolat said that the Ankara+ (Plus) project is a joint vision project of THY and AJet.
Ahmet Bolat stated:
“Tourists arriving in Ankara by air spend two days in the city and then visit at least one or two of the 15 surrounding cities by road. This gives them the opportunity to see the historical and natural attractions in these cities. Together with Central Anatolia and the surrounding provinces, Ankara is positioned as a tourism destination. In addition to its historical riches, Ankara offers tourists a wide range of services in areas such as gastronomy, health tourism, nature, and culture. Thanks to this project, all cities in the region will share in tourism revenues. The trade, accommodation, transportation, health, and cultural sectors all benefit, creating an inclusive and sustainable tourism ecosystem.”
45 New Aircraft for AJet’s Fleet
AJet continues to expand its fleet. Emphasizing that the airline’s fleet is rapidly modernizing, AJet Chairman of the Board Ahmet Bolat said:
“By the end of this year, 10 Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft will arrive. By the end of 2026, the number of factory-fresh aircraft will reach 45.”
Bolat underlined that AJet has the youngest airline network in Turkey. Stressing the rapid modernization of the fleet, he added:
“In the last month alone, 4 factory-fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft joined AJet’s fleet. Another 10 Boeing 737-8 MAX will arrive by year’s end. By the end of 2026, the number of factory-fresh aircraft will reach 45.”

Highlighting that operations from Ankara will increase, Ahmet Bolat said:
“The new aircraft will give momentum to our operations.”
He also noted that with the Ankara+ (Plus) Project, AJet will support tourism in the capital and surrounding areas. Bolat concluded:
